Progress on my blanket

|
I don't know if you remember that last year I started a blanket for myself.  There was about 3 months that I haven't touched it and have now started again.  I still have a very very long way to go.  The blogs that I sometimes stop by always have these photos of amazing blankets that they have made and in one way I feel inspired to pick it all up again and power on but then I start my project and I think where do the find the time and patience?

What do you think of the progress so far?

Love doing life with...

|
Last Sunday was just an amazing day.  I got to hook up with these amazing people.  Apart from them being my daughter's Godparents they are also very dear Friends…well I would class them more as family.

Mrs G I have known for a very long time now, come August it will be 11 years and Mr G I have know now probably for about 6-8 years.  It has been a blessing all the way.

We had a great lunch together in a coffee shop/restaurant in Tonbridge near the River Centre.  The food was amazing and the conversation was even better.

One of the reasons we love hanging with them is we can ask each other these life questions and have honest and open answers with great discussions without being judgemental or offended.  Do you have friends like that?  Aren't they amazing for the soul?

But apart from that it was just an awesome day to hang out!  I even got to test drive my new toy!  What do you think of the photos?

Small steps….

To all my wonderful blog readers,

I just wanted to say my sincerest apologies for not writing a blog post in such a long while.  I have probably now lost some readers along the way but I have been very ill on and off since November (it all started in August) and had the pleasure of spending 13 days in hospital over Christmas (left with a new found respect for the NHS nursers and doctors - they are awesome!)

I have been going in and out ever since and should hopefully on the mend soon.  Also we have moved so life has been a tad crazy. I can't even remember the last time I picked up a knitting needle or crochet hook.

Fingers crossed that I can get back on track and rekindle your love for my blog and find some new readers!

2015 is going to be the year of new and greater things not just for me but for all of us!

Thank you wonderful readers for reading this and your everlasting patience!

Best Wishes
Knitaboo xx
